Today we started Book Week with an amazing show from the Booster Cushion Theatre. With lots of stories being told including Goldilocks and the Three Bears, it was a lot of fun.
We even got to stay behind after the show to ask the actor questions for an even greater insight into the show.
Today in Maths we worked in our problem solving groups to solve multiplication problems.
This week in Maths we have been using the grid method to help us solve multiplication problems.
Today in Science we looked at magnets and their magnetic poles. We identified North and South and had a go at creating our own compasses. We then looked at which sides attract and which repel.
Today we looked at a poem and discussed what images it made us think of as we read it. The children then displayed this imagery in a variety of ways.
Over the last few days we have been writing a story a paragraph at a time. After completing our stories, we learnt how to edit and improve our own work and offer constructive criticism and advice to our learning partners. By doing this, everyone was able to identify any mistakes and improve their writing.
